Pete keeps saying that he’s going to dress up as Texas Pete for Halloween. Until then, I think he wants us to just stay stocked up on hot sauce.

I would have stocked us up this week, except all the Texas Pete was gone by the time I got to Harris Teeter. Makes sense. The stuff is free this week.

Harris Teeter: My Shopping Trip

I had to run into Harris Teeter because one of the milks I bought was open and leaking. Not really the thing you wanna drink.

Since I was in Harris Teeter anyway, I decided to run to the bar aisle because I had two coupons with me. I’ll probably get to Harris Teeter one more time before triples end, but I wanted to get these just in case I don’t.

Lowes Foods, Harris Teeter: Good Deal Alert — Jell-O Temptations

I really like the Jell-o Temptations. I got them once upon a time at PathMark. I haven’t bought them since because they’re generally a little expensive for me.

Not right now.
There’s the high-value $.90 off any Jell-o Temptations or Mousse printable, and that will double or triple this week, so that’s great.

Harris Teeter: My Shopping Trip

Just got back from Harris Teeter triples. There were people there who cleared the shelf while I was [[arguably]] sleeping. So there was no Texas Pete or Frank’s hot sauce for me; no Dole microwavable delicious cups; no French’s onions. But, I was able to get real food, and that’s great.

My goal was to spend no more than 50 cents per item, on average, excluding the milk.
So, let’s see how that went, shall we?

But, okay, let’s take out the milk for a minute because I knew that would kill my percentage. Without the milk, the total was $38.08, and my total spent without the milk was $6.64. So that’s a savings of 82%. That’s also 16 items for $6.64, which is an average of 41.5 cents per item.
That’s under budget. Awesome.
