Just got back from Harris Teeter triples. There were people there who cleared the shelf while I was [[arguably]] sleeping. So there was no Texas Pete or Frank’s hot sauce for me; no Dole microwavable delicious cups; no French’s onions. But, I was able to get real food, and that’s great.
My goal was to spend no more than 50 cents per item, on average, excluding the milk.

But, okay, let’s take out the milk for a minute because I knew that would kill my percentage. Without the milk, the total was $38.08, and my total spent without the milk was $6.64. So that’s a savings of 82%. That’s also 16 items for $6.64, which is an average of 41.5 cents per item.
That’s under budget. Awesome.
