Free Sample [[& Coupon Alert]]: Nuance Salma Hayek

I warned you about my multiple CVS posts. I hope you didn’t think I was kidding because I have another one for you.

I was in the store and saw a display with free samples of Nuance Salma Hayek body cream. There was “My Secret Super Moisturizing Body Cream” and “Dark Caco & Coffee Firming Body Cream.”

Attached, there’s a coupon for $2 off any Nuance Salma Hayek skincare product. The coupon is good until the end of the year.

Now, my problem, though, is that this is the most annoying product name I’ve encountered in a long time. Is it calling Salma Hayek a nuance? Did anyone think to tell her the word “by” would have done a lot of good. Plus, it’s two letters. It’s not like it would take that much more money to print that word.

Ugh, the pain of being an English major.

Coupon Alert: Revlon

It kills me when I find a coupon after a sale.

Oh, you see where this is going, right?

Maria posted about her Revlon beauty tools trip, so I had to go and pick up my own cheap beauty tools. Mine weren’t moneymakers because my paper didn’t get the Revlon coupons. So sad.

Even sadder, I was in CVS yesterday and found a display with a tearpad full of $1 off any Revlon Beauty Tool coupons, good until March 31, 2012. I’m crossing my fingers for a sale before these expire.

CVS: Good Deal Alert — Dry Idea

I was in CVS and saw that Dry Idea was on clearance for 75% off — making it $1.37. That’s a good price to pay for deodorant, not $5.49 [[although free is the best price, which you can do this week at CVS]].

There is a $1/2 coupon in the 01/22 RP, so your deal could look like this:

$1.37 — Dry Idea deodorant
$1.37 — Dry Idea deodorant
Total: $2.74

Coupon: $1/2

Total after coupons: $1.74 or $.87 each.

CVS: Free Skintimate

I went to CVS last night and I found a tag in Skintimate shave gel. Is it just me or free shaving gel has been hard to find? I’m extremely happy about this deal. Of course, I was not alone because I only found one on shelf and found a second one when I walked around the store.

Shaving gel was $3.49 reg. price and there was a tag for $4 ECB when you buy Skintimate or Schick. I had a coupon from 1/15 SmartSource for $0.55 off Skintimate. 

Did you find Skintimate at your CVS? What was the regular price? Lisa found it for $4.19.

CVS: New Physicians Formula Rebate

I really love Physicians Formula rebates, mostly because I never have a problem with combining them with a sale. Seriously, that’s every couponer’s dream deal.

And I found it for you. This week at CVS, Physician’s Formula is giving back $7 when you spend $10. I found this display where some Youthful Wear items had Try Me Free rebates attached.

The items were $13.99 and $16.49 at my store. But I live in New York where everything is potentially more expensive than where you live. But still, free after rebate totally evens the score.
