Coupon Alert: Dulce De Leche Cheerios

Someone offered a free sample of Dulce De Leche Cheerios. Eat Better America, maybe? I don’t exactly remember, but I do remember that Maria missed it and she was completely bummed.

So hopefully she won’t miss this.

Head over to the link below to print a coupon for $.75 this cereal. After doubling, that’s $1.50 off. Now that’s a nice coupon.

$0.75 off Dulce de Leche Cheerios cereal

Coupon Alert: Cheerios – – Dulce De Leche

Who doesn’t love Cheerios? But Dulce de Leche Cheerios? I’m sure they are delicious. A few weeks ago there was a free sample that we missed for this new product.

Of course I still want to try them and what’s better than a printable coupon for my future impulse buy? MyBlogSpark is offering a printable coupon for $1 off one box of Dulce de Leche Cheerios. Click [[here]] to print your coupon.

For Cheerios this is considered a high value coupon as most insert coupons are $1/2 or $75/2.

Saturday Sample: Multi-Grain Cheerios and Lean Belly Book

I love cereal. I could probably eat it three times a day. But that’s not really healthy. My favorite Cheerios are Multi-Grain. They are a guilt free cereal for me. They still have the sweet taste I love but they have just 110 calories per serving and 16 grams of whole grains. Did you know most Americans don’t even get half of the daily allowance for whole grains?

Big G cereals are a great source of whole grains. Visit Whole Grain Nation for more information about the importance of whole grains in your diet. There are lots of reasons to eat well including:
1. Weight management
2. Reduce cancer risk
3. Heart health
4. Keep you regular
5. Manage diabetes

Speaking of weight management, Dr. Travis Stork, Host of The Doctors, has a new book “The Lean Belly Prescription”. I haven’t finished reading it but I have skimmed through most of it. This is not just a book to read, there are recipes, exercises, tips, hints and so much more to help you get the lean belly you want. I really like the set-up of the book. It is not a book you read once and that’s it. This is the kind of book you read and keep going back to for tips and follow-up.

Thanks to our friends at MyBlogSpark for providing me with a coupon for Free Multi Grain Cheerios and with a new book.

Stop And Shop: General Mills Promotion

I went to Stop & Shop yesterday and the receipt tape wasn’t working. Usually, this isn’t the end of the world, but I really wanted to have my receipt handy to let you know prices and all.

Why?

MyBlogSpark was so super nice to send me a $20 gift card to buy some General Mills products. See, if you buy five participating General Mills products this week [[ending 04/22]], and use a reusable bag, you’ll be entered to win a 2010 eco-friendly Hybrid. Perfect car to celebrate Earth Day in.

So, I headed to Stop & Shop, armed with a few coupons, to see what I could find. The participating products are General Mills cereals: Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Kix[[B2G1, psa $3.49]], Yoplait yogurt cups [[$.50]], Fiber One bars [[$3]], Betty Crocker fruit snacks [[$2.22]], Yoplait Delights parfait yogurt [[$2.50]], Yoplait Yo-Plus low far or Fiber One yogurt [[$2]], Fiber One or Betty Crocker muffin mix [[$2.50]], Betty Crocker cookie mix pouch [[$2]], Nature Valley granola bars or Nut Clusters [[$2.88]], Progresso Light Soup [[$1.67]], Pillsbury Grands biscuits [[$1.67]], Cascadian Farm Organic frozen veggies [[$2.50]], Cascadian Farm Organic cereal [[$3.29]], and Betty Crocker flavored mashed potatoes [[$1.67]].

Now, truth be told: The prices are a little higher than what I’d like to pay for things. But, the way I saw it was that this gift card was a gift from MyBlogSpark, so I might as well use it for things I love [[Fiber One bars]] that I wouldn’t generally pay for. I can’t justify spending $3 of my own money for a box of six bars, but with the gift card, yup, totally okay.

Plus, I’m super convinced that I’m going to win the eco-friendly car since I one] love the Earth so much; two] always use my reusable bag anyway; and three] I’m feeling kinda lucky.

So, how’d I do? I’m guessing a little bit because, like I said, no receipts. But, I got …

$5 — Two boxes of Muffin Mix
$15 — Five boxes of Fiber One bars
$3 — Six Yoplait yogurt cups
$2.50 — One Yoplait Delights Parfait Yogurts [[which look terrific]]
$4 — Two pouches of Cookie Mix
Total: $29.50

Coupons:
$2 — Two $.50/1 coupons for the muffin mix, doubled
$3 — Three $.50/1 coupons for the Fiber One 90 calorie bars, doubled
$1 — One $.50/2 coupon for the Fiber One bars, doubled
$.80 — One $.40/6 coupon for the yogurt cups, doubled
$1.60 — Two $.40/1 coupons for the cookie mix, doubled
Total: $8.40

Also got 5 cents back for using a reusable bag

Total after coupons: $21.05

I used my $20 gift card, so I really paid $1.05 for all this. When I look at it that way, it’s a fantastic deal. Especially since I’m gonna win the car.

How good could you do? Check back tomorrow and you might have your chance to … if you’re feeling lucky, that is.

Full disclosure: General Mills and Stop & Shop, through MyBlogSpark provided me with the $20 gift card.
